1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Platinum Beats (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Site.

2. Platform Role & Disclaimer

Platinum Beats operates as a marketplace platform connecting producers (Sellers) with artists (Buyers). Platinum Beats is not a party to any license agreement between Buyer and Seller. Any disputes regarding the quality, ownership, or usage of beats must be resolved directly between the users. We assume no liability for the actions or content of our users.

3. User-Generated Content

Producers retain full ownership of the beats they upload to the Site. By uploading content, you confirm that:

  • You own the copyright or have the necessary rights to license the content.
  • The content does not infringe on the rights of any third party.
  • You grant Platinum Beats a license to host, play, and display your content for the purpose of operating the marketplace.

We reserve the right to remove any content at any time, for any reason, without notice, particularly if we receive a valid copyright infringement notice.

4. Beat Licensing

Beats are sold under specific license terms (Basic, Premium, Unlimited, Exclusive) displayed at the time of purchase. It is the Producer's responsibility to ensure license terms are accurate.

  • Non-Exclusive licenses do not transfer ownership of the composition.
  • Exclusive licenses transfer ownership only if explicitly stated in the contract.
  • All sales are final once the digital files have been delivered.

5. Payments, Refunds & Chargebacks

All purchases of digital goods (beats, licenses) are final and non-refundable once the download links have been generated.

  • Refunds may only be issued at the sole discretion of the Seller or Platinum Beats in cases of technical failure.
  • Unjustified chargebacks or payment disputes will result in the immediate termination of your account and a permanent ban from the platform.

6. DMCA & Copyright Policy

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please report it to us immediately at support@platinumbeats.com with the subject line "DMCA Notice".

We will promptly remove infringing content and terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately for any breach of these Terms. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
  • You may lose access to your uploaded content and purchase history.
  • In cases of fraud, any unpaid balances may be forfeited.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in California.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE". Platinum Beats shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service.

10. Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
